Face-Off! Wine Blending Class - Jan 24, 2026

Join owner-winemaker Côme and longtime La Mesa club member Chris Cornish for a fun wine blending class. Participants are organized into two teams that will "compete" to make a winning recipe for our upcoming flagship red wine blend, Charactère.

We will compare and contrast the ingredient wines made from a selection of our estate Barbera, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Petite Sirah, Primitivo, Syrah and Zinfandel wines. 

Then, roll up your sleeves with your teammates and formulate a mix for your own perfect bottle!  Take your hand-crafted bottle home to enjoy with family and friends.

$60 covers the costs of our tastings, your take-home bottle plus light bistro fare.
