Wine Tasting

Inside our tasting rooms, enjoy a custom flight of wine. Our expert team is known for their exceptional service and will guide you through a selection of our wines and match them to your preferences. For those who need to sit, a limited number of 2-person tables are available. Large groups (6+ people) may be seated outdoors if space is unavailable.

We recommend making a reservation. Book in, join us for a tasting flight inside. At the vineyard, enjoy a glass or bottle on the outside terrace, as weather permits. Reservations end at 4pm (5pm at Sutter Creek).

Let's get you comfortable.

May-October the terrace is covered with shade sails for comfort on warmer days. You may purchase a glass of wine or bottle(s) to enjoy on the terrace.  Taste our wines inside before deciding what to enjoy outside.

November-April can yield some beautiful sunny and warm days, but inclement weather may impact our ability to seat guests outdoors. Please check the forecast and dress warmly. Check our Reservations page for more details.

Unique Wines

La Mesa makes 20+ hand-crafted red, white and specialty wines. Our wines range from popular varietals to rare Rhône and Italian grapes that are locally sourced and in most cases, grown right here in our own vineyard. Our carefully-selected clones, terroir, technology and handcrafting all combine to make outstanding low-sulfite wines.

Exploring Amador County

The Amador wine-growing region is one of California's best-kept secrets. As you head east from the central valley you'll be driving uphill into the Sierras, with long views on the state's oldest and most acclaimed vineyards.

Marvel at the foothills with grazing pastures, walnut groves, rivers lined with hundred-year oak trees, cute Gold Rush-era towns and retail hotspots like Amador City and Sutter Creek. Further east lies the mountains of Kirkwood and Lake Tahoe and their world-class resorts.

Ask our tasting room team for nearby attractions and other wineries they recommend.
