Details about Club
When do I get my Club wines?
Share and Celebrate members receive four releases per year. We let you know by e-mail a few weeks before the release date, so you can edit your selections, plan your visit to pick-up the wines and/or confirm your shipping details.
Can I choose the Club wines I want?
Yes! About two weeks prior to the release date, you will be given a one-week window to confirm your Club selections by logging into your account at our web site (click "Login" at the top-right corner).
We try our best to complete any late changes to selections made after the deadline.
How does Club pick-up work?
If you selected the Pick-up option, retrieve your wines at the Tasting Room during regular business hours, starting the weekend of the release date.
Give us a call if you can't make it. Will Call members have 4 weeks to pick up their shipments at the winery. After that, orders are shipped to the Club member’s address listed on file at the Members' expense. An adult (21+ years of age) must be home to sign for the package.
Undeliverable shipments are held for 30 days before disposal. If a past-due shipment is returned back to the winery and not picked up, the membership is automatically cancelled.
How does shipping work?
Unless you select the pick-up option, or otherwise make special arrangements with us, wines are shipped out on the release date.
When your wines ship, you will be charged the balance owing plus sales tax and UPS ground shipping charges. Tracking notifications are sent out by UPS to the email that is on file.
The law requires an adult (21+ years of age) to be home to sign for the package.
UPS will make 3 attempts to deliver, after which it will be returned to us. There will be a fee for re-shipping.
How does payment work?
Your credit card is billed for the Club wines after you have made your selections, or at the deadline, whichever is sooner.
Your credit card will be charged for the cost of the Club release (minus the applicable Club discount) plus any shipping charges.
By joining Club, your signature authorizes La Mesa Vineyards to use your credit card on file for Club and shipping charges related to your account.
What is the Birthday discount?
Each Club member receives a Birthday discount every year. The discount amount is specific to each Club.
Birthday discounts are only redeemable for wine purchases and are limited to a single transaction on a "use it or lose it" basis. Birthday discounts may not be combined with any other discount.
Club members have 30 days to redeem their Birthday discount. Birthday discounts cannot be redeemed online. Birthday orders can be emailed, phoned in, or placed with staff at the Tasting Room. Birthday discounts are limited to no more than five (5) cases of wine. Cases of wine may be mixed, quantities permitting.
Pre-ordering your birthday wines is highly encouraged. Pre-ordering birthday wines is mandatory during Club events. Library wines are excluded from the Birthday discount.
What is the Mix and Match case discount?
Club members may purchase a full case (12) bottles of their choice for 30% off the list price. These purchases may be at any time. These purchases are over and above the regular Club releases and may include Library wines.
Do I get a referral for family and friends?
Yes! When your family member or friend joins, you receive a referral credit for a bottle of wine at our tasting room, valued up to $39. Redeem this credit immediately upon signup. See staff for rules regarding your credit.
How do I cancel?
Club membership may be cancelled at any time after the fourth shipment, or pay a $100 early cancellation fee.
The Club member is responsible for providing at least 14 days notice of Cancellation prior to shipments. Cancellation may be done by submitting a request via email at wineclub@lamesavineyards.com, by phoning or speaking to any staff member or manager at the Tasting Room.
A member may choose to skip a club release after they have received their 4th consecutive release. If a release is skipped, all benefits, discounts and Wine Club events will be suspended and will be reactivated when the next release is paid. A member may only skip one release per year.
