Walnut Butter Culinary Class (With Wine)

Foodies! Join La Mesa owner and winemaker Côme for an intimate culinary class to make the most amazing homemade walnut butter.
The walnuts we use in this class were harvested from our 50+ Franquette trees, planted in the 1950s. Franquettes are renouned for their buttery taste and low tannins; perfect for this special recipe.
Gather around and try cracking open some yourself while enjoying a glass of our Library wine. Step through this time-tested recipe to transform these special walnuts into 100% pure walnut butter. Fresh loaves of our legendary homemade sourdough bread will be on hand for a delicious taste. Just $25 per person to attend this memorable event.

Private Winery Tour

Join La Mesa owner and winemaker Côme for a private, behind-the-scenes tour of our newly expanded Amador County winery facilities. See cutting-edge winemaking technology up-close and the handcrafting techniques we use to result in our fruit-forward, low-tannin and low-sulfite wines. This is a chance to taste some of our yet-to-be-released wines and take home your own pre-release bottle.

Amador Four Fires 2025

La Mesa will be pouring at Four Fires. Sample over 200 wines from more than 40 wineries, along with food prepared by acclaimed local chefs and caterers! Zinfandel, Barbera, Tempranillo, Syrah and many more are served, with food cooked over open flame, reflecting the heritage of these four-iconic wine growing regions.
