Welcome, Uphill Vineyards
We're excited to welcome all Uphill Vineyards wine enthusiasts to their new home, just across the street.
Join us across the street (literally!)
All remaining Uphill Vineyards wine is being held at La Mesa Sutter Creek.
Uphill Vineyards is now at La Mesa.
Not familiar with La Mesa Vineyards? We are a top destination winery in Amador's Shenandoah Valley and have been making quality wines since 2011. Our wines have received plenty of acclaim and awards so far, and keep getting better.
Great wines. Made Right here.
Located just 45 minutes east of Sacramento in Plymouth, California, La Mesa offers a full selection of award-winning reds, whites and specialty wines made ranging from popular varietals to rare Rhône and Italian grapes that are locally sourced and estate-grown in our high-altitude vineyard.
Bring Your Friends.
La Mesa has two tasting rooms to serve you: the Vineyard, located in the heart of Amador Wine Country, and the downtown Sutter Creek tasting room at 59 Main Street, right in the middle of all the action there.
Very few wineries can offer you two outstanding destinations!
Vineyard Bistro
On weekends, enjoy 5-star eats at our winery bistro. Bistro is open Sat-Sun, 12:00-3:30 p.m.
Exclusive Events
We host a busy event calendar, including private winery tours and barrel-tastings, fun and educational wine classes, live performances on our expansive outdoor terrace, harvest parties, and also participate in many other regional wine events.
La Mesa ships to most U.S. states
Uphill customers who live outside the area are just as special to us. We appreciate they want their wine orders to ship quickly and be packaged up safe and sound while they are in transit.
We have negotiated low rates with our distribution partners. Combine low shipping rates with club discounts to treat your friends and family across the country!
