Barbera 2020
Gold award at the 2024 California State Fair (95 points). In Amador County, Barbera is "our" grape. Originally planted in the 1850s during the Gold Rush, this varietal is widely celebrated at the annual Amador Barbera Festival. Ours is made from our estate-planted vines and seeks to honor this fine tradition. A full-bodied, robust red wine with characteristics of dark cherry, plum, blackberry, vanilla, nutmeg, low in tannins. Perfect for pairing with rich dark meats, pastas, Paella, root vegetables and braised greens. 15.9% alcohol. 121 cases produced.
