U-Pick walnuts
DURING BUSINESS HOURS, THRU END OF NOVEMBER
Bring your own 5-gallon bucket(s) and head out to collect some of our fabled walnuts while they are fresh fallen. There's no charge for walnuts you collect for yourself.
Once shelled and lightly roasted, our Franquette walnuts are soft to the taste and have none of the bitterness found in store-bought varieties. Delicious in a variety of recipes (homemade walnut butter, smoothies, desert toppings, etc).
Let us know you are coming by making a reservation, and mention in the notes that you would like to collect some free walnuts.

Join La Mesa owner and winemaker Côme for a private, behind-the-scenes tour of our newly expanded Amador County winery facilities. See cutting-edge winemaking technology up-close and the handcrafting techniques we use to result in our fruit-forward, low-tannin and low-sulfite wines. This is a chance to taste some of our yet-to-be-released wines and take home your own pre-release bottle.

Blend Your Own Perfect Cabernet With Antonia

Join star winemaker Antonia de Heinrich at our winery production facility for an unforgettable wine blending session. This is a chance to try your hand at blending your very own Cabernet Sauvignon.
Sample our upcoming Cabernet, Cabernet Franc and Malbec, all made from special grapes we've secured from neighboring high-elevation vineyards. Antonia will guide you through how each of these unique varietals contributes to the blend. Roll up your sleeves and formulate your own perfect bottle.
Take your hand-crafted bottle home to enjoy with friends and family.
