Wine Club FAQ
How can I get my wines?
If you log into your La Mesa account you can select to have your wines shipped to you via UPS or Will Call pick up at the tasting room. We will let you know when wine club wines are available for pick up a few weeks before the date so you can plan your visit.
How does payment and subscription work?
By joining the Wine Club, your signature authorizes La Mesa Vineyards to use your credit card on file for Club and shipping purposes related to your account.
Can I customize my wine club order?
YES! At least two weeks prior to club release, you will be given a one-week window to customize your wine club selection via logging in to your account. All wine club releases after this window are final and cannot be changed. Billing will proceed after club selections are finalized. An email will be sent for all wine club notifications.
How often do shipments occur?
Share and Celebrate members receive two shipments per year, one in May and the other in October. Intimate members receive three shipments per year, one in January, May, and October.
How does shipping work?
Wine club releases will be shipped out via UPS on the predetermined release date (unless you designate Will Call pickup at the Tasting Room). Someone 21 years of age or older must be home to sign for the package. UPS will make 3 attempts to deliver after which it will be returned to the winery. There will be fee for re-shipping the wine club. Tracking notifications will be sent out via the email that is on file. Your credit card will be charged for the cost of shipping and handling.
How does Will Call work?
Wine Club members can pick up their wine club releases during regular business hours starting the weekend of the release date. Will Call members will have 4 weeks to pick up their shipments at the winery. Shipments that are not picked up at the winery or have otherwise made arrangements with us by the deadline will be shipped out at the club member’s expense to the address listed on file. Someone 21 years of age or older must be home to sign for the package. Any shipments that are undeliverable and returned will be held for 30 days before disposal. If a past due shipment is returned back to the winery and not picked up, the membership will be cancelled.
Can my friends and family join the Wine Club?
We would love you to bring your friends and family members! When they join the club, you will receive a referral credit for a bottle of wine at our tasting room, valued up to $39. You can redeem this credit immediately upon signup. See staff for rules and regulations regarding your referral credit.
What is Founder’s Club?
A limited number of members who join the Share and Celebrate clubs will automatically be listed as our Founder’s Club. Being a Founder member is truly special and as such there are a few benefits to enjoy:
• Invitation to our Harvest Celebration exclusively for Founder Members only
• First allocation of our most limited production and library wines
• First invites to our most exclusive private events
What is the Birthday Discount?
Each club member receives a birthday discount every year. Birthday discount amounts are specific to each club. Birthday discounts are only redeemable for wine purchases and are limited to a single transaction on a "use it or lose it" basis. No additional discounts may be combined with the birthday discount. Club members have 30 days to redeem their Birthday discount. Birthday discounts cannot be redeemed online. Birthday orders can be emailed, phoned in, or placed with staff at the Tasting Room. Birthday discounts are limited to no more than 3 cases of wine. Cases of wine may be mixed, quantities permitting. Pre-ordering your birthday wines is highly encouraged. Pre-ordering birthday wines is mandatory during Club events. Library wines are excluded from the Birthday discount.

How do I cancel?
Club subscription may be cancelled at any time after the second shipment or pay a $100 early cancellation fee. It is the responsibility of the Club member to provide at least 14 days notice of Cancellation prior to shipments. Cancellation may be done by submitted a request via email at email@example.com, by phoning our Tasting Room or by speaking to any staff member or manager at the Tasting Room.
