Gamay Noir 2024
La Mesa’s estate-grown Gamay is the only one grown in Amador. Those who love Beaujolais-style Gamay know the signature aromas - wild strawberries, raspberries and cherry, almost candied. Tasting notes of black currants and summer herbs and a lighter acidity with a long, lingering finish thrills the taste buds. We recommend serving this red wine chilled as a radical alternative to white wine. Pairs well with charcuterie, cheese plates and salads. For an over-the-top meal sensation, try our Gamay with duck and a fruit compote or raspberry coulis. 14.5% alcohol. 130 cases produced.
